Porsche 911 Carrera Cup (964) Coming to RaceRoom!

The famed Porsche "Growler" is coming to RaceRoom Racing Experience through the games next update.

Sector 3 Studios have announced that an iconic Porsche is set to debut in RaceRoom Racing Experience, and fans of the German brand have plenty of reason to be excited. The Porsche 911 Carrera Cup (964), a recognizable competitor in various racing events across the world throughout the early 90's, will be coming to RaceRoom in the upcoming content update. The Porsche was run in the in the Carrera Cup from 1990 to 1994, taking on various European tracks such as the Nürburgring. Featuring a five-speed gearbox and a 3.6l straight-six engine that produces 260 HP, the 964 was dubbed "The Growler" due to it's very loud engine. The common claim was that you would hear one from a mile away. Naturally, this led to the 964 becoming one of the most iconic variants of the 911 ever produced.

Soon, players will have the chance to take the famed Porsche out on the track in RaceRoom. To drum up excitement, Sector 3 Studios have released several screenshots of the car in action, as well as a look at each of the liveries that the car will sport when it arrives into the game.
